You might be
wondering what did I write about food… Don’t worry, just read and you
will know.
First of all decide whether
you
1. “EAT TO LIVE “
2. “LIVE TO EAT”
Obviously every
intelligent person will think by himself/herself as the second one.
Now let us discuss
something that we all do generally.
Today is your
friend’s birthday so you and your friends decide to celebrate his/her
birthday by cutting a cake. You collect the money, order a nice vanilla
flavored cake with added choco chips on that and also a nice art work on it
with his name.
The cake looks
beautiful and delicious.
So everything is set
according to the plan… you bring your friend to the venue without informing
him about your plan, thinking that he will feel happy.
With a nice Happy
Birthday song your plan gets successfully executed.
Now we enter into
the CLIMAX of the story……!!!
As soon as the
birthday song is done, you and your gang punch the cake on your friend’s
face and play holi with the cream and throw cake pieces on each other ! You
enjoy to the core with the cake.
And at last you throw
the remaining cake on the floor so that everyone will know how grandly you
celebrated and then go wash your creamy face.
WOW….!!!! You
did a great job ,you surprised your friend
REALLY….!!!! Hats
off to you !!!
You have done a
great job so you should definitely share that ….
And
The next thing you
do is Post the pictures of your Creamy faces on Social Media…..!!!
End of the story.
If you have
understood the moral of the story then I appreciate you.
IF NOT… Read the
facts listed below and you will know what a great thing you actually did…
* SOME
795 million people in the world do not have enough food to lead a healthy
active life. That's about one in nine people on earth.
* The vast majority
of the world's hungry people live in developing countries, where 13.5 percent
of the population is undernourished.
* Asia is the continent
with the hungriest people – two thirds of the total. The percentage in
southern Asia has fallen in recent years but in western Asia it has increased
slightly.
* Sub-Saharan
Africa is the region with the highest prevalence (percentage
of population) of hunger. One person in four there
is undernourished.
* Poor nutrition
causes nearly half (45%) of deaths in children under five -
3.1 million children each year.
* India wastes Rs
44,000 cr worth food every year.
* India's hunger 'shame': 3,000 children die everyday, despite
economic growth
* Every 15 seconds a
child dies of hunger
Yes these facts
are real and these facts belong to the same world in which you are
enjoying
your life
Somewhere we are also
responsible for the above facts to become true
Not only these
There are many more
facts that will blow your mind
Here, at this moment
I want to say something
Don’t just blame the
government for everything
We always sit idle
and think of doing something for the nation
BEING AN EDUCATED
PERSON IS NOT IMPORTANT, BEHAVING LIKE AN EDUCATED PERSON IS IMPORTANT
So decide what is
important for you...
“We all are going to
become engineering graduates in a few years”
Feels proud
right…!!!
Well what’s the use
of being a graduate if you don’t know whether you are wasting or celebrating...
Just realize the
difference between wasting and celebrating…
Not only in
birthdays, in any parties, marriages etc., please don’t waste food and if any
food is left donate it to some orphanage or oldage or at least distribute
them to beggars.
This may fill the
stomach of the poor kids who are struggling to get food for one time in a day.
By doing so you will
bring smiles on the faces who sleep empty stomach daily.
I will be happy if
my words will change the mind of at least one person.
So I request everyone
not to celebrate your birthdays and all by wasting food.
I think I am not
wrong if am expecting a change ………!!!
THANKYOU.
